Chances are you’ve already watched it in theatres, but if you haven’t, we’ve got something for you on Jawan’s OTT release.

Jawan OTT release date

Atlee-directed Jawan has started to stream on Netflix today onwards, on the occasion of Shah Rukh Khan’s 58th birthday. The OTT giant reportedly bagged the rights of the film for a whopping Rs 250 crore. Netflix released a YouTube video featuring Shah Rukh, dressed in his avatar from the movie, announcing the OTT release of the film.

Prior to this, there was no confirmation from SRK-owned Red Chillies Entertainment, which is also the production house behind the film, on Jawan releasing on OTT today. The movie has premiered on OTT almost eight weeks after its theatrical release, which is the norm being followed by most films these days.

Jawan is Shah Rukh’s second film this year, after the actor’s almost five-year sabbatical as a lead actor from the big screen. He made a couple of cameos in movies like Brahmastra, Laal Singh Chaddha and Rocketry, before finally coming back in Pathaan. The latter is already streaming on Amazon Prime Video, in case you want to want to watch it. Another Shah Rukh Khan film is coming this year in the form of Dunki, his first collaboration with Raj Kumar Hirani. He is also expected to be seen in a cameo in Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3, which releases on Diwali.
