Jio launched its Jio Phone Next in October last year, priced at Rs 6,499 in India. And it soon became an attractive pick for those looking at an ultra-affordable 4G smartphone. The device now becomes even more attractive as it gets a Rs 2,000 discount via an exchange offer. As per Jio.com, the phone will be available to purchase at Rs 4,499 after exchanging any 4G feature phone or smartphone for Rs 2,000. Buyers can also opt for the Rs 1,999 upfront payment and Rs 500 process fee payment with the instalment option of the 18/24 months route.

Jio Phone Next flaunts a 5.45-inch 1440×720 pixels resolution HD+ display with a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the device draws power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. The Jio Phone Next packs 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. Powering the device is a 3,500mAh battery.

The Jio Phone Next has a 13MP rear camera that supports HDR, Night Mode, Portrait Mode, and Snapchat lenses for the optics. An 8MP selfie snapper on the front takes care of selfie needs. Jio Phone Next boots PragatiOS out of the box, which Jio and Google developed.
