Jio recently hiked its prepaid plans in India and have been in effect in the country since yesterday i.e December 1st. Compared to other carrier prepaid offerings, the Reliance-backed plans are slightly cheaper and offer slightly better value for money. A new set of Jio Phone recharge plans have also been launched by the company. These weren’t revealed last week when Jio announced the price hike but we can see the new Jio Phone plans on the company’s website now. Jio Phone customers get multiple recharge options now, ranging between 23 days to 336 days. They bring access to the Jio suite of apps, including Jio Cinema, Jio TV, Jio Cloud, and Jio security. The plans are available on the Jio website for customers to recharge.
New Jio Phone prepaid plans
Jio Rs 125 prepaid plan: Jio Phone Rs 125 plan offers 23 days validity, 300 SMS, unlimited calls to any network, 0.5GB per day, and access to the Jio suite of apps.
Jio Rs 152 prepaid plan: Jio Phone Rs 152 plan offers 0.5GB data per day (which makes a total of 14GB), 28 days validity, unlimited calls to any network, 300 SMS, and access to the Jio suite of apps.
Jio Rs 186 prepaid plan: Jio Phone Rs 186 plan offers 1GB data per day (which makes a total of 28GB), 28 days validity, unlimited calls to any network, 100 SMS per day, and access to the Jio suite of apps.
Jio Rs 222 prepaid plan: Jio Phone Rs 222 plan offers 2GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, 28 days validity, unlimited voice calls, and access to the Jio suite of apps.
Jio Rs 899 prepaid plan: Jio Phone Rs 899 plan offers 2GB of data every 28 days – meaning 24GB in total, 50 SMS per day, 366 days validity, unlimited voice calls, and access to the Jio suite of apps.
