LG X2 with 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, Android Nougat, and fingerprint sensor goes official

Earlier this month, LG unveiled the X5 (2018) smartphone in its home market of South Korea. Now, the company has expanded the X range with the launch of yet another smartphone dubbed the LG X2 in the country. The phone comes as an entry-level offering that boots Android 7.0 Nougat, and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The LG X2 sports a 5-inch IPS display bearing a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (unknown SoC). The handset comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, which can be further increased by inserting a microSD card. The camera department includes an 8MP rear snapper with an LED flash and a 5MP front shooter. A 2,500mAh battery keeps the 4G LTE-enabled offering running.

The LG X2 has been priced at 1,98,000 Korean Won (~Rs 12,200). The phone will be available through telecom operators in Korea in a single Aurora Black colour.
