The MEIZU Pro 7 gets a secondary Super AMOLED screenat the rear, which can be configured to display various things
Last November, MEIZU started teasing the launch of the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus smartphones in India. The phones were originally unveiled in China in July last year. Now 91mobiles has learned that the company is all set to launch the MEIZU Pro 7 in India. The phone is expected to land in the country by the end of this month, but might get slightly delayed. Our sources also suggest that the phone will be priced under Rs 30,000. The MEIZU Pro 7 Pluson the other hand will not be launching in India, according toour source.
To recap on the specs, the MEIZU Pro 7 comes with a secondary Super AMOLED display at the rear, which displaysnotifications for calls, messages, emails and more. You can also viewyourself on the secondary screen while capturing photos from the primary snapper. The display can also be configured to showcase multiple live wallpapers and more. The flagship also sports a premium metal design.
As for the other features, the MEIZU Pro 7 is fitted with a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED display on the front, which has been sourced from Samsung. The device has two 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 cameras at the rear one RGB sensor and one monochrome sensor. For selfies, the phone gets a 16-megapixel shooter. The handset also gets an independent audio processing chip.
The MEIZU Pro 7 comes in two processor configurations one with a Helio P25 SoC and the other with a Helio X30 processor, both accompanied by 4GB of RAM. The Helio P25 model comes with 64GB of storage, while the Helio X30 variant gets 128GB of memory. The phone boots Flyme 6 OS based on Android Nougat. The 4G LTE-enabled offering offers a front-mounted fingerprint sensor. A 3,000mAh battery with mCharge 3.0 fast charging technology completes its list of the specifications.
The MEIZU Pro 7 is available in China at astarting price of around Rs 28,000, and comes in black, silver, gold and red hues. We will have its final pricing and availability details for India in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
