“Given the Redmi K20 launched in India just a week ago, the brand has been fairly quick in identifying the issues and fixing them”
Redmi K20 is receiving a new MIUI 10.3.6 update days after its launch in India. This 471MB OTA update brings June security patch and fixes issues related to the notifications and the screen. It also optimises the camera beautification function and also rectifies the issue that incorrectly displayed the hands-free call duration when Game Turbo settings on the Redmi K20 were opened. The update also corrects the issue that caused the screen to turn off in a few cases. Given the Redmi K20 launched in India just a week ago, the brand has been fairly quick in identifying the issues and fixing them ahead of the third flash sale on July 29th.
Furthermore, the MIUI 10.3.6 update fixed the issue with the media volume that won’t restore after receiving a new notification. It also improved the Game Turbo feature for uninterrupted gaming sessions as well. The Redmi K20 update is now rolling out in India in a phased manner, but it shouldn’t be long before it’s made available in other markets as well.
