Just last month, Microsoft announced its new business 2-in-1 device, the Microsoft Surface 7 Pro+. It is now available for purchase in India, but only for educational institutions and enterprises. Alongside the Microsoft Surface Pro 7+, the company has also launched a new interactive whiteboard’ called the Microsoft Surface Hub 2S. Since the Microsoft Surface 7 Pro+ is intended for students and professionals on the go, some SKUs come with LTE connectivity, allowing for uninterrupted internet access. There are a total of eleven Microsoft Surface 7 Pro+ variants available for purchase in India. Prices start at Rs 83,999 for the variant with an Intel Core i3 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD. Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ and Microsoft Hub 2S specifications
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ comes with Intel’s newest 11th-generation Tiger Lake CPUs. As displayed above, choices range between Intel Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 processors. The Wi-Fi variant maxes out at an Intel Core i7-1165G7 and the LTE model at the Intel Core i5-1135G7. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi-only version supports up to 32GB of RAM, whereas the LTE variant gets up to 16GB of RAM. Similarly, up to 1TB of storage can be added to the Wi-Fi variant. The LTE version has to make do with 256GB. It is quite easy to swap out the SSD as it can be accessed without completely disassembling the device.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 7+ features a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display (2,736 x 1,824) resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. Input options include one USB-C port, a USB-A port, the 3.5mm headphone jack, and the Surface Connect port. The Wi-Fi variant gets a microSD card slot and the LTE variant a nano-SIM card slot. Microsoft promises up to fifteen hours of battery life on the Surface 7 Pro+. Other specifications include Wi-Fi 6 support, Bluetooth 5.0, Dolby Atmos-certified speakers, a far-field microphone, a 5MP front-facing camera, and an 8MP rear camera.
