Motorola has yet again expanded its 2025 smartphone portfolio today with the release of the Moto G67 Power. Aimed at the masses, the smartphone has been priced at Rs 15,999 and sits just below the previously released Moto G86 Power and Moto G96. With a 7,000mAh silicon carbon battery on board, the phone is centred around users who demand great endurance from their phone in everyday usage and hence the ‘Power’ moniker in the name.
The phone is going on sale starting November 12th and will be available on Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and leading retail stores, with an additional bank discount of Rs 1,000 using SBI Bank, Axis Bank, and IDFC Bank credit cards. Just like previous phone releases, Motorola has gone for funky and vibrant colour schemes for the G67 Power, such as PANTONE Cilantro, PANTONE Parachute, and PANTONE Blue Curacao.
Motorola has opted for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset on the Moto G67 Power, which we previously saw on the Moto G96. This processor is paired with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage and 8GB RAM, which is the only memory configuration the phone comes in. In our testing of the Moto G96, the phone achieved an AnTuTu and Geekbench multi-core score of 6,25,098 and 2,909, respectively. Since the Moto G67 Power carries the same processor as the G96, one can expect similar raw performance output.
The front of the Moto G67 Power is graced by a 6.7-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display, which is assisted by a 120Hz refresh rate and protected using Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. While there are phones in this price range that have started to come up with AMOLED panels, like the Lava Blaze Amoled 2 and Samsung Galaxy M17, Motorola has opted for a balanced approach by bundling the panel with a faster refresh rate for smooth scrolling.
Moving to the vegan leather back, the Moto G67 Power sports a dual camera system comprising a 50MP 1/2-inch Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide unit. These cameras are paired with an ambient light sensor. The display’s punch-hole cutout houses a 32MP selfie camera and has an aperture size of f/2.2 for maximum light intake. From the on-paper specifications, it appears Moto has opted for a tried and tested approach, as the camera setup on offer strikingly resembles that of the G86 Power.
Furthermore, the phone will allow users to capture videos in up to 4K 30FPS using all three lenses, which is something vloggers or content creators will appreciate, as the phone will output detailed videos. Motorola has also thrown in some nifty features in the camera app, such as Dual Capture, Auto Smile Capture, Auto Night Vision, and Gesture Selfie, to name a few. Several AI features are also available on the Moto G67 Power, like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Magic Editor, all powered by Google Photos.
When it comes to the design, Motorola continues to pack the 3.5mm headphone jack for those who prefer enjoying media through wired audio devices, while the Dolby Atmos stereo speaker support may provide an immersive listening experience. When it comes to ergonomics, the phone weighs 210g and has a side profile of 8.6mm, all this while packing a 7,000mAh battery. The phone supports up to 30W charging speeds. An IP64 rating has been instilled, while the MIL-STD-810H military grade protection ensures safety against small bumps or drops.
