This report provides insights into the upcoming smartphone’s chipset, camera, and other specifications. It’s important to note that Motorola didn’t release an Edge 40 Ultra last year but did unveil an Edge 30 Ultra in 2022. Here’s more about the rumoured Edge 50 Ultra.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra chipset, camera details (rumoured)
According to a report by Android Headlines, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It is also expected to debut with the new Hello UI, based on Android 14 and three years of OS upgrades.
The phone will feature a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of 50MP sensors, including a periscope lens with a 75mm focal length, offering around 5x optical zoom. Additionally, there will be laser autofocus positioned above the periscope lens and a triple-LED flash to its right.
As per the report, unlike the Peach Fuzz and Black models, the Light Beige Edge 50 Ultra features a seamless design with a continuous, one-piece back. The light colour extends seamlessly from the back panel to the camera bump, creating a cohesive and unified look.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra launch date, price (rumoured)
While it hasn’t been officially confirmed, the report suggests that the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra home screen (in the pictures) displays the April 3rd date. This indicates that the Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 50 Ultra might be unveiled together.
Although the pricing for the upcoming Ultra variant is speculated to be around $999 (which is around Rs 83,264), this information is not yet confirmed. Additionally, it remains unclear whether the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will debut in India alongside the Motorola Edge 50 or not. We’ll likely learn more details during the official launch event.
