Motorola has been aggressively expanding its smartphone portfolio in India. The company is spreading its products across various price categories, including low-end, mid-range, and high-end flagships. Now, 91mobiles has learned from industry sources that Motorola is gearing up to launch two new Moto phones in the country in Q1 2022. One of them will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which is the flagship mobile processor from Qualcomm. The handset is speculated to be Motorola Edge X30. However, details regarding the second phone that will launch in the country are unknown at the moment but it is possible it could be one of the remaining G-series phones, such as the Moto G71.
Motorola Edge X30 is set to launch in China on December 9th and could debut in India with a different moniker such as the Edge 30 Ultra, whose renders were exclusively revealed by us. The company recently launched the Moto G31 in India and will introduce the Moto G51 in the country on December 10th. So, only the G200, Moto G41, and G71 are remaining. Since the launch will happen in Q1 2022, we should learn more details about the phones and their details closer to launch.

Motorola Edge X30 teasers confirm the phone will come with a 144Hz refresh rate display with HDR10 certification and 1 billion colours. The front camera is a whopping 60MP sensor for selfies and video chats. While the rear panel will offer dual 50MP cameras. Another poster image confirms the handset will come with a 5000mAh battery and a 68W fast charging support. The chipset could be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The TENAA certification revealed it will have a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ display and is likely to boot Motorola’s My UX 3.0 OS based on Android 11 or 12.
