In addition to the Nokia 8.3 5G premium mid-range smartphone, HMD Global has also launched the Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3 and the iconic Nokia 5310 feature phone. The Nokia 5.3 is an affordable mid-range smartphone that touts a quad-camera setup and a waterdrop notch. The Nokia 1.3 ientry-level Android Go phone that comes with a textured finish at the back and a single rear camera. Both the phones run on Android 10 with the promise of timely updates. To cap things off, HMD Global revived yet another iconic feature phone, this time being the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic with an improved design and hardware.

Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3 and Nokia 5310 price and availability

The Nokia 5.3 price is set at EUR 189 (around Rs 15,200) and will be available from May 2nd in Gold, Black and Green colour options. The Nokia 1.3 price is EUR 109 (approx Rs 8,800) and will be up for grabs from April 6th. Lastly, the Nokia 5310 is priced at EUR 39 (around Rs 3,129). HMD Global is yet to announce when the three phones will make their way to India.

The Nokia 5.3 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie camera and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with Adreno 610 GPU for gaming, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is further expandable via microSD card. The phone boots Android 10 OS with a promise to two years of software updates.

In terms of optics, Nokia 5.3 has quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The smartphone houses a 4,000mAh battery that promises a 2-day battery life. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port and NFC. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and aptX HD audio.

The Nokia 1.3 Android (Go edition) phone has a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 1,520 x 720 pixels resolution. The phone ships with a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box. As for cameras, the Nokia 1.3 has an 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. It measures 147.3 x 71.2 x 9.4 mm and weighs 155 grams.

HMD Global also introduced the iconic XpressMusic Nokia 5310 feature phone as well. It has a red-colour accent, volume controls on the left spine and play/pause, skip, forward and backward keys on the right. It has a 3.5mm audio jack and built-in FM radio. The new Nokia 5310 has a 2.4-inch QVGA display, 16MB internal storage that can be expandable via 32GB, and a physical T9 keyboard. The feature phone boots Nokia Series 30+ operating system. It’s powered by the MediaTek MT6260A chipset coupled with 8MB RAM. There’s a 1200mAh battery that is claimed to offer 30 days of standby time.
