The month of March started with a bang thanks to a bunch of new smartphone launches. These range from mid-range to ultra-premium flagship offerings. These kept the world of tech going in the last week. Xiaomi has introduced its new phones, the Xiaomi 14 and quite surprisingly the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Nothing too added a third new model to its lineup, the Nothing Phone (2a).

Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Ultra

• Xiaomi 14 Display: 6.36-inch 1.5K C8 LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits max brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
• Xiaomi 14 Ultra Display: 6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution, Dolby Vision, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 3000 nits peak brightness. 
• Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno GPU.
• RAM/Storage: Up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
• OS: Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
• Xiaomi 14 Cameras: 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP telephoto sensor. There is a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.
• Xiaomi 14 Ultra cameras: 50MP Sony LYT900 main camera, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto zoom lens, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto zoom lens, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. There's a 32MP shooter on the front.
• Battery: The Xiaomi 14 Ultra packs a 5,300mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging support.
• While the Xiaomi 14 has a 4,610mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, and 50W wireless charging support.

Price: Xiaomi 14 Ultra is priced at Rs 99,999 for the sole 16GB/512GB storage model. The Xiaomi 14 is priced at Rs 69,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant.

Vivo V30, Vivo V30 Pro

• Display: 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2800×1260 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio screen, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and up to 2800 nits peak brightness.
• Processor: The vanilla Vivo V30 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. While the Pro model ships with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset
• RAM/Storage: Up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
• OS: Android 14 with Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box.
• Cameras: Vivo V30 5G features a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.88 aperture, OIS, an LED flash and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.0 aperture. There is a 50MP shooter on the front.
• Vivo V30 Pro features a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary camera with Zeiss optimisation, a 50MP Sony IMX816 portrait camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 50MP selfie camera.
• Battery: 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

Price: Vivo V30 5G is priced at Rs 33,999 for the 8GB + 128GB, Rs 35,999 for the 8GB + 256GB, and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version.

The Vivo V30 Pro is priced at Rs 41,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model and Rs 46,999 for the 12GB + 512GB version. 

Nothing Phone (2a)

• Display: 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection layered on top.
• Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset. 
• RAM and storage: Up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage
• OS: Android 14-based Nothing OS 2.5 custom skin out of the box.
• Cameras: 50MP primary camera with OIS + EIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera at the back. There is a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies.
• Battery, charging: 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

Price: Nothing Phone (2a) is priced at Rs 23,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, Rs 25,999 for the 8GB/ 256GB version and Rs 27,999 for the 12GB/256GB model.

Realme 12, Realme 12+

• Display: Realme 12+ 5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1200 nits of peak brightness.
• On the other hand, the Realme 12 5G gets a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 950 nits of peak brightness. 
• Processor: Realme 12+ 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with Mali-G68 GPU.
• While the Realme 12 5G gets the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor paired with Mali G57 GPU
• RAM/Storage: Up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
• Battery: 5,000mAh battery with up to 67W fast charging support.
• Cameras: Realme 12+ packs a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple cameras on the back and a 16MP front camera. While the Realme 12 has a 108MP primary + 2MP secondary sensor. There is an 8MP shooter on the font.

The Realme 12 is priced at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB +128GB variant and Rs 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version.

Samsung Galaxy M14 4G

• Display: 6.7-inch FHD+ PLS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 391 PPI with 16M colours, and 1080 X 2400 pixels resolution.
• Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.

• Cameras: 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro unit, and a 2MP depth unit. There is a 13MP unit on the front for selfies and video chats.

Lava Blaze Curve 5G
