OnePlus has confirmed one of the key specs of its next flagship OnePlus 10R, which is scheduled to launch in India on April 28th. The handset will be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor, a variant of the Density 8100 that is exclusively customised for Oneplus. OnePlus says that the chip will include an “octa-core CPU which can clock speeds up to 2.85Ghz and the latest Arm Mali-G610 MC6 GPU which is 20 percent faster than its predecessor” to offer its “signature fast and smooth experience, empowering users to ‘Stay in Charge’.” The device will also be the first one to introduce 150W SuperVooc fast charging in the country, which will charge the OnePlus 10R’s 4,500 battery from 0 to 100 percent in just 17 minutes.

OnePlus 10R specifications
In addition to the MediaTek chipset, the OnePlus 10R specifications are said to include a 120Hz FHD+ E4 AMOLED display, 50MP triple cameras, and a 16MP selfie camera. The company had previously confirmed the handset will come with an 8GB RAM variant and 12GB RAM variant, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device is further expected to come equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support and an in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC. The smartphone will likely run on Oxygen OS12, based on Android 12.
Coming to the MediaTek Dimesnity 8100 Max SoC, it is expected to be the boost up version of the standard MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. The latter, to recall, is built on the TSMC N5 5nm production process and features an Octa-core CPU with four large cores based on the Arm Cortex-A78 architecture with up to 2.85GHz frequency and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
While there is no word on the OnePlus 10R price in India, it has been tipped that the phone will come in Sierra Black, Green and Arctic Glow colour options.
OnePlus Nord CE 2
Alongside the OnePlus 10R, the company is also slated to launch the OnePlus Nord CE 2 in India. The Nord CE 2 will be a mid-range offering with a 5G capable Snapdragon 695 SoC ticking at its core, 33W fast charging, and 64MP triple rear cameras. The handset is likely to come in Jade Fog and Black colour options.
