OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G at a global event on Thursday. The handset arrived as an offshoot of the OnePlus Nord 2 that debuted last year. While the brand hasn’t shared any details regarding the India launch, we can speculate it may debut in the country sometime in the next couple of months, if not a bit early. It brings an upgraded MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset compared to the Dimensity 1200-Max on the OnePlus Nord 2 and an 80W fast charging support as well.

OnePlus Nord 2T global price is EUR 399 (around Rs 32,700) for the 8GB + 128GB model and EUR 499 (around Rs 40,900) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Going by this, we can speculate the Nord 2T price in India will be between Rs 35,000 and Rs 40,000, including taxes. There’s a chance the base variant could be priced around the Rs 30,000 mark.

OnePlus Nord 2T sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset paired with ARM Mali G77 MC9 GPU for graphics. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage that isn’t further expandable. It runs on Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 custom skin out of the box. The company is promising two years of system updates and three years of security updates.

There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, USB Type-C audio and stereo speakers. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, Beidou, Galileo, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging support.
