OPPO A3s gets up to Rs 2,000 price cut in India, now starts at Rs 7,990

Following the launch of latest A-series smartphones launch, OPPO has slashed the price of last year's handset dubbed as OPPO A3s (review). The handset has received a permanent cut of up to Rs 2,000 from its previous MOP. That means the OPPO A3s 2GB RAM variant, which was available at Rs 8,940, can now be purchased at Rs 7,990. The phone's 3GB RAM option, meanwhile, will set you back to Rs 9,990 instead of Rs 10,990. Interested buyers can avail Jio Benefits of Rs 7,050 on the purchase of the handset. Moreover, you can earn up to Rs 1,300 cashback if you pay for the OPPO A3s via the Paytm app.

OPPO A3s specifications

For those unaware, the OPPO A3s was launched back in July 2018. The handset comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ notch-toting display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC ticking at its core. The chipset is accompanied by up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage, which is expandable via microSD card. In the camera department, the phone rocks dual 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors with LED flash on the rear and an 8-megapixel sensor with AI Beauty Technology 2.0 for selfies and video calling on the front.

Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The OPPO A3s comes preloaded with on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 out of the box and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Other features include 'Music Party' that enhances users' music experience and face unlock. Lastly, the phone comes in Dark Purple and Red colour variants.
