The OPPO A7 smartphone has been given a price for the 4GB + 64GB variant in offline retail stores by the company. The OPPO A7 is now available Rs 1,000 cheaper, with the price going down to Rs 12,990. This is the fourth price cut for the handset — the smartphone was launched at Rs 16,990 in November last year, which was slashed by Rs 2,000 in April this year. It was again cut by Rs 1,000 the following month. Interestingly, Flipkart is still selling the OPPO A7 4GB + 64GB variant at Rs 13,990, while Amazon.in is selling the same at Rs 12,990.
OPPO A7 specifications
OPPO A7 specifications include a 6.2-inch display with HD+ (720 x 1,520 pixels) display, which has 19:9 aspect ratio and 81.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top and has a waterdrop notch. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 software and is powered by the budget Snapdragon 450 processor, with Adreno 506 GPU. It has a dedicated microSD card slot, which can house cards with up to 256GB capacity. Apart from the 4GB + 64GB variant, the handset also comes in 3GB + 32GB and 3GB + 64GB configurations.
The OPPO A7 has a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP depth-sensing unit, backed by LED flash. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity suite of the handset includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, fingerprint sensor, microUSB 2.0, and GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, and BDS. It has a 4,230mAh battery and comes in Glazing Blue, Dazzling Gold, and Rose Pink colour options.
