OPPO gaming smartphone design leaked

Today, we have come across a certification of an unannounced smartphone from OPPO on the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). While the certification does not reveal the model number or the marketing name of the smartphone, it does list the images of the device. Going by the images, this upcoming smartphone from OPPO seems to have a design similar to gaming smartphones like the ASUS ROG Phone 5 and the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro. So, we are assuming that this upcoming OPPO smartphone is focused on gaming.

According to the images, the display of the upcoming OPPO gaming smartphone does not have a notch or a punch-hole, just like other gaming smartphones. Instead, the screen has slightly thick bezels at the top, which most probably houses the front-facing camera and other sensors. The OPPO gaming smartphone has a quad-camera setup at the rear and a unique design pattern on the back panel. To the right, you get a power button and to the left, you have volume rockers.

Unfortunately, that is the only information we have regarding the upcoming OPPO gaming smartphone. Hopefully, we will get to know more about the device as it appears on more certification and benchmarking platforms. What we can predict though is that the upcoming OPPO gaming smartphone might compete with the ASUS ROG Phone 5, Redmi K40 Gaming, OnePlus 9R, and the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro.
