OPPO has been balancing the budget and mid-range segment with consistent launches since the beginning of the year. Now, noted tipster Mukul Sharma claims the brand is gearing up to launch a new K-series phone in the country as early as next week. For those unaware, OPPO unveiled the K-series with the K10 4G back in March. While he hasn’t mentioned the exact marketing name of the phone, it could be the OPPO K10 5G version. Separately, the OPPO K10 5G renders and specifications have surfaced online, courtesy Twitter user Mad Leaks. The handset will come with an HD+ display, a 90Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 810 chipset and a 5000mAh battery.

The OPPO K10 5G has a waterdrop notch on the front to house the selfie snapper and there’s a sizeable bezel below the screen. The volume rocker is on the left edge, while the power button with a fingerprint sensor embedded is on the right edge. The back panel is where the rectangular module is present to house dual camera sensors and dual-LED flash.

The OPPO K10 5G comes in Black and Blue colour options. The phone could have a polycarbonate build to keep the price and weight in check.

OPPO K10 5G is said to sport a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is tipped to ship with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset paired with 8GB of LDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. There’s up to 5GB of extendable RAM. It will boot Android 12 based ColorOS 12.1 custom skin out of the box.

The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, 33W fast charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, stereo speakers, and support for 7 5G bands. The phone weighs 190 grams and has a thickness of 7.9mm. Moving to optics, the OPPO K10 5G will pack dual camera sensors on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth unit. The phone is said to pack an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

From the specifications, it looks like the phone could be a rebrand of the OPPO A77 5G that went official in Thailand recently.
