Top phones launched this week: Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, Infinix Note 40 Pro, Realme GT Neo6 SE, and more

The month of April has been busy from the get-go with smartphones launching every other day. The first week of April saw phones like the OnePlus Nord CE4, Motorola Edge 50 Pro, and more arrive in India. This week was no less with a total of eight new smartphones that launched in India and other markets like Europe and China. The list includes phones from Samsung, Motorola, Realme, Redmi, Motorola, and Infinix.

Let's take a look at each of the new phones launched this week.

Samsung Galaxy M55 5G

• Launch market: India
• Display: Samsung Galaxy M55 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits of peak brightness and Vision Booster technology.
• Processor: The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor.
• RAM and storage: It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

• Cameras: The Galaxy M55 5G sports a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro sensor at the back, and a 50MP front camera.
• Battery, charging: It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W of fast charging support.
• Software: On the software front, the Galaxy M55 5G runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1 layered on top. It will get four years of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates
• Price: 8GB+12GB - Rs 26,999, 8GB+256GB - Rs 29,999, 12GB+256GB - Rs 32,999.
• Colours: You can get the Galaxy M55 5G in Light Green and Denim Black colour options.

Infinix Note 40 Pro series

• Launch market: India
• Display: Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G and Note 40 Pro 5G feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1300 nits peak brightness, 2160Hz PWM Dimming, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
• Processor: The two phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 6nm processor paired with IMG BXM-8-256 GPU.
• RAM and storage: The Infinix Note 40 Pro series comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

• Cameras: Both phones feature a 108MP primary camera with OIS, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth camera. The two phones also house a 32MP front camera for selfies.
• Software: On the software front, the Note 40 Pro+ 5G and Note 40 Pro 5G run on Android 14-based XOS 14 custom skin out of the box.
• Battery, charging: The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ packs a 4,600mAh battery with 100W charging support, while the Note 40 Pro 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging speed. There is a 20W Wireless MagCharge support on both models.
• Price: Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G 8GB+256GB - Rs 21,999. Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 12GB + 256GB - Rs 24,999.
• Colours: You can get the Inifnix Note 40 Pro 5G series in three colour options: Obsidian Black, Titan Gold, and Vintage Green.

Samsung Galaxy M15 5G

• Launch market: India
• Display: Samsung Galaxy M15 5G has a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display.
• Processor: Under the hood of the phone runs the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset.
• RAM and storage: It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

• Cameras: The Galaxy M15 5G has a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. There's a 13MP front camera for selfies.
• Battery, charging: The smartphone also packs a massive 6,000mAh battery that's claimed to last for up to two days. You also get 25W fast charging support on the Galaxy M15 5G.
• Software: On the software front, it runs on Android 14-based One UI 6.1. This phone will also get four years of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates
• Price: 4GB+128GB - Rs 12,999, 6GB+128GB - Rs 14,499.
• Colours: The Galaxy M15 5G comes in Celestine Blue, Stone Grey, and Blue Topaz colour options.

Redmi Turbo 3

• Launch market: China
• Display: Redmi Turbo 3 features a 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz PWM, and 2,400 nits peak local brightness.
• Processor: The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
• RAM and storage: It comes in four variants with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage.

• Cameras: It has a 50MP IMX882 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 20MP front camera.
• Battery, charging: Redmi Turbo 3 packs a 5000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
• Software: It runs Xiaomi HyperOS based on Android 14 out-of-the-box.
• Price: 12GB+256GB - CNY 1,999 (Rs 23,500), 12GB+512GB - CNY 2,299 (Rs 26,500), 16GB+512GB - CNY 2,499 (Rs 28,800), 16GB+1TB - CNY 2,799 (Rs 32,300).
• Colours: The phone is available in Black, Gold and Green colour options.

nubia Flip

• Launch market: China
• Display: The nubia Flip phone sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ foldable AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM Dimming, and 443 PPI. It has a 1.43-inch OLED external display.
• Processor: The foldable is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC paired with Adreno 644 GPU for graphics.
• RAM and storage: The chipset is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

• Cameras: The foldable phone features a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
• Battery, charging: It packs a 4310mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
• Software: The nubia Flip runs on Android 13-based MyOS 13 custom skin.
• Price: 8GB + 256GB - RMB 2999 (approx Rs 35,200), 12GB + 256GB - RMB 3299 (approx Rs 38,000), 12GB + 512GB - RMB 3,699 (around Rs 42,600).

• Display: The Moto G04s sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, up to 537 nits brightness, and panda glass protection.
• Processor: The handset will be powered by the UNISOC T606 SoC paired with Mali G57 MP1 GPU for graphics.
• RAM and storage: It comes in two variants with up to 8GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

• Cameras: The phone has a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash at the back. Up front, there's a 5MP camera for selfies.
• Software: The Moto G04s runs on Android 14 OS with My UX custom skin.
• Battery, charging: The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
• Price: 4GB + 64GB - EUR 119 (Rs 10,700 approx).

Realme GT Neo6 SE

• Launch market: China
• Display: Realme GT Neo6 SE features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 8T LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, global maximum brightness of 1600 nits, manual maximum brightness of 1000 nits and up to 6000 nits of peak brightness.
• Processor: The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor.
• RAM and storage: The chipset is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

• Cameras: Realme GT Neo6 SE has a 50MP IMX882 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, you get a 32MP front camera.
• Battery, charging: The Realme phone packs a 5,500mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.
• Software: On the software front, it runs Android 14 with Realme UI 5 layered on top.
