POCO M5 price in India, availability, and specifications were finally revealed on Monday. The handset arrives as a successor to the POCO M4 and comes with 4G LTE connectivity. The handset has a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper, triple camera sensors on the back, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and a leather finish on the back panel, which looks unique. The phone is placed in the budget segment and hence is made out of a polycarbonate body.

POCO M5 is priced at Rs 12,499 for the 4GB+64GB variant and Rs 14,499 for the 6GB+128GB model. The phone comes in POCO Yellow, Icy Blue, and Power Black colours and will be on sale starting from September 13th. As a part of the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale, users can avail of the ICICI and Axis Bank discount of Rs 1,500 on the phone. The brand is also offering a 1-year Disney+ Hotstar subscription and 6-months of free screen protection.

POCO M5 sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz smart refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer, and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It packs up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card.
Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, Hi-Res audio, Widevine L1 certification, and a leather finish. The phone runs on Android 12-based MIUI custom skin out of the box.
