Update: Realme 12+ 5G India launch date has been officially revealed by the company. In line with the rumours, the phone will be debuting in the country on March 6th at 12 PM IST. Realme 12+ 5G also features an all-new Snap Portrait System, which is the first custom dynamic portrait capture system on a smartphone. There is also a quick camera lunch function, which allows you to capture the next shot within 0.8s. The company has also started teasing the phone in India as well, and is tipped to debut locally on March 6th. Now, while we wait for the official launch, the render and specifications of the phone have been revealed through a pre-order page on an e-commerce website, DirectD. Check out the details.

  • The pre-order page on the DirectD website shows the Realme 12+ 5G will be available in Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige colour options.
  • We see a large circular module on the back panel and this will house triple cameras and an LED flash. There is also a vertical strap running in the middle of the phone.
  • While we don’t get to see the front portion of the phone, we believe there could be a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter and slim bezels.

As for the pre-orders, interested customers in Malaysia can pre-order the phone until February 29th. The company is offering Realme Techlife T17C smartwatch, Techlife earbuds, one-year extended warranty for free. This offer applies to the first 1000 customers. The DirectD listing also reveals some key specifications of the phone.

    • Display: Realme 12+ will sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1800 × 2400 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
    • Processor: The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor.
    • RAM and storage: The chipset will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. There’s up to 12GB virtual RAM support. 
    • Software: Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out-of-the-box.
    • Cameras: Realme 12+ 5G will feature a triple-camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 16MP front camera for selfies.
    • Battery: Realme 12+ will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
    • Dimensions: The phone will measure 163 x 75.5 x 7.9 mm and weigh 190 grams.
