Looks like Realame 9's launch could be inching close.
The FCC listing shows the Realme 9 aka RMX3388 has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and slim bezels. The power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor is on the right spine, while the volume rocker is on the left. It is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille at the bottom. The rear is where you will find triple cameras and LED flash arranged in a rectangular module.
Then there's also an image of the 18W charger shown in the FCC listing. We can safely assume the phone will have at least 18W charging support. The phone can be seen in White and Black colour options.
Realme RMX3388 is said to measure 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.5mm and the display size could be a 6.5-inch. The phone will be equipped with a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The rear could house a triple camera layout, with a 48MP primary sensor and a couple of 2MP sensors. The phone will have support for 5G, with n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n77, and n78 bands. Other connectivity options could include Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC. It could have a 4890mAh battery (could be marketed as 5,0000mAh).
Realme 9 is said to be a rebrand of the Realme 8 5G but with slight changes. Now, the FCC listing says "Except the model name, and FCC ID number change, the EUT [equipment under testing] are electronically/ electrically identical to the original equipment and that the original test results continue to be representative of and applicable to it." Here the original equipment could be the Realme 8 (RMX3241), which has the Dimensity 700 chipset. We should know more details about the phone going forward.
