Not too long ago, Realme announced that it would soon be launching its first-ever Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1-powered smartphone in the market. The device is claimed to be dubbed the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. So far, plenty of leaks surrounding the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition have popped up on the internet, but the latest one more or less puts an official stamp on the device’s specifications and looks. As seen in the images above, this is what the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will look like. The device will feature a centrally-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Upon closer inspection, we found out that the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature a metal frame (notice the antenna linings on the frame). The power button will be on the right side of the device, while the volume up and down buttons will be on the left side. At the back, we can see a triple rear camera setup, which reminds us of the recently launched OnePlus Ace (OnePlus 10R).

According to the TENAA listing, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz 10-bit AMOLED panel. Powering the device will be an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which will be paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB internal storage. The device will boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

In terms of cameras, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will make room for a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP tertiary camera. At the front, the device will have a 16MP selfie snapper. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will measure 161.3×74.3×8.2(mm) and will weigh 199 grams. Lastly, the device will feature a 2,440mAh dual-cell battery, which is said to have support for a whopping 150W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
