Realme Summer Surprise sale: Realme U1, Realme C1, Realme 2 available with up to Rs 1,000 off

After its anniversary sale earlier this month, Realme has announced Summer Surprise sale in India. The company is offering discounts of up to Rs 1,000 on Realme U1, Realme C1, and Realme 2 smartphones as part of the sale. Interested buyers can purchase the handsets with the offer via Realme.com, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and authorised retail stores across the country. The sale is live and will continue until May 31st.

To start with, the Realme U1 is available at Rs 8,999 instead of Rs 9,999 for the entry-level 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while the 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant will cost Rs 9,999 instead of Rs 10,499. The top-end 4GB + 64GB variant will set you back to Rs 10,999, which is down from its previous MOP of Rs 11,999. The Realme U1 is the brand's last year mid-range offering, with 25-megapixel selfie shooter, 6.3-inch waterdrop-style notch display, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC ticking at its core.

Realme C1, the budget offering from the brand, can be purchased at a starting price of Rs 6,999 instead of Rs 7,499 for the 2GB + 32GB option. The high-end 3GB + 32GB storage variant has received Rs 500 discount to bring its retail price down to Rs 7,999. The Realme 2, meanwhile, is available at Rs 8,999 down from its previous MOP of Rs 9,499 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage.

Both the handsets boasts a 6.2-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 450 SoC, 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera setup, and a whopping 4,230mAh battery. The notable differences between the two are the selfie camera. While the Realme 2 feature an 8-megapixel front camera sensor, the Realme C1 has a 5-megapixel shooter.
