Realme has launched a brand new smartphone in China today, the Realme V13 5G. This smartphone made its debut alongside the Realme GT Neo. The Realme V13 5G is positioned between the Realme V11 5G and the Realme V15 5G in the brand’s V series. The Realme V13 5G is an affordable 5G phone with a set of specifications that you’d expect from a mid-range smartphone. Realme V13 5G price and availability

The Realme V13 5G price is set at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs 17,800) for the base variant which has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. There is also an 8GB+256GB variant which costs CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 19,900). The phone is available in two color options, black and blue.

Pre-orders for the Realme V13 5G have started in China and the device will go on sale in the country from April 2nd. There is also no information regarding the Realme V13 India launch. However, considering that Realme hasn’t launched any V-series smartphone in the Indian market to date, it is possible that the Realme V13 5G will arrive as a rebranded phone.

Realme V13 5G specifications

The Realme V13 5G features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch refresh-rate, a maximum sustained brightness of 480 nits, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. It has a punch-hole mounted to the top-left corner. The brand has not revealed what kind of display protection does it offer for the Realme V13 5G.

In terms of power, the Realme V13 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. This chipset is built on a 7nm fabrication process. The chipset is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. There are two configurations to choose from, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The phone runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 customization.

When it comes to imaging, the Realme V13 5G has a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, you get an 8MP camera. Sadly, the phone cannot record 4K videos with any of its cameras, a feature that most mid-range smartphones nowadays.

As for the battery, the Realme V13 5G packs a 5,000mAh unit supporting 18W fast charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM, dual-5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Realme V13 5G measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.5 mm and weighs 185 grams.
