Amid the rise of 5G services in the country, global smartphone brand Xiaomi’s recently launched 5G smartphone – Redmi 11 Prime 5G – has received a price cut of Rs 1,000 in India. The smartphone was launched along with Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi A1 in India in September as a budget-friendly 5G smartphone. Redmi 11 Prime 5G price in India, availability (updated)

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G price in India now is Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively for the 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB variants on Amazon and Mi.com. This comes after a price drop of Rs 1,000 on Redmi 11 Prime 5G, which retailed at Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999 earlier. Meanwhile, ICICI credit and debit card users can avail an additional discount of Rs 1,000 on the purchase of smartphone via Amazon.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G specs

In terms of display, the smartphone features a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ LCD panel that has a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass. It sports a dual 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera in the rear, and there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The Redmi Prime 11 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via microSD card support. It runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13 skin out of the box. On the battery front, the smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. However, the phone ships with a 22.5W charger.

The smartphone also supports IP52 water and dust resistance and has a 3.5 mm headphone jack and an IR blaster.
