Not too long ago, Xiaomi unveiled its Redmi Note 11 series in the Chinese market. The Redmi Note 11 lineup of smartphones features three devices – the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. While we already received some leaks surrounding the Pro variants and the fact that they would be rebranded for India, we have now found evidence surrounding the vanilla variant and its possible rebranding for the country as well. Notably, the Redmi Note 11 will launch in India as Redmi Note 11T, if the recent finding is indeed legit. Let’s take a look.
Redmi Note 11 could launch as Redmi Note 11T 5G in India
As per a source code finding by @Kacskrz, Xiaomi will likely unveil its Redmi Note 11 as the Redmi Note 11T 5G in India. This is nothing new, as the brand has done the same with the Redmi Note 11’s predecessor as well. The tipster further claims that the device would launch in the global market as the POCO M4 Pro 5G, which is set for launch on November 9th, by the way.
In the strings posted by Kacper, we can see the Redmi Note 11 bearing the codename evergo. The POCO M4 Pro 5G has the codename evergreen and the one that we are going to see in India, the Redmi Note 11T 5G, has the codename evergoin (in for India).
Redmi Note 11/11T 5G specifications
If this finding is true and if the Redmi Note 11 will indeed launch in India as the Redmi Note 11T 5G, the device will feature a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device will feature a 50MP + 8MP dual rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. The Redmi Note 11T will run Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. To learn more about the Redmi Note 11T 5G, you can head to our previous coverage for the same.
