Samsung Galaxy A55 Bluetooth SIG and TUV Rheinland listings

The upcoming Galaxy A55 features the model numbers SM-A5560 and SM-A556E. The Bluetooth SIG certification reveals that the device will come with Bluetooth 5.3, while the Rheinland listing reiterates that the device will come with a 9V DC adapter, supporting 2.77 A output. This implies the phone will support 25W charging, as confirmed in the 3C listing earlier.

Based on rumours, here’s what we can expect from the Galaxy A55.

  • Display: Galaxy A55 may feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 
  • Processor: The smartphone will reportedly be powered by a new in-house Exynos 1480 chipset paired with AMD GPU. 
  • RAM and storage: It’s tipped to pack 8GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage options.
  • Cameras: The Galaxy A55 could house a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies, it could feature a 32MP front camera. 
  • Battery, charging: The Galaxy A55 5G could pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, as confirmed by 3C.
  • The Galaxy A55 is also confirmed to come with 5G support.
The device was earlier spotted on Geekbench, wherein the Exynos 1480 SoC demonstrated notable performance. Renders of the device had also leaked showcasing the design of the phone. Samsung is yet to announce the Galaxy A55 launch date, but with so many leaks, the launch is bound to happen soon.
