The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G India launch is at 12 PM IST. Much like the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G launch yesterday, the Galaxy F42 5G launch will also be a simple price and sale date reveal instead of an event.

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G price in India (expected)

As per our previous report, the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G will be priced at Rs 20,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, while the 8GB RAM variant may cost Rs 22,999. These are said to be offline prices. The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G online prices on Flipkart and Samsung.com could be slightly lower.

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G specifications

The Samsung Galaxy F42 5G is tipped to feature a 6.6-inch tall display that will bear a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and Infinity-V notch atop for the selfie camera. The smartphone is expected to rock MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC under the hood, which will be paired with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 128GB storage onboard. The phone could run Android 11-based OneUI out of the box.

In optics, the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G to sport triple rear cameras with a 64MP primary sensor. This could be accompanied by a 5MP (115-degree FOV) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Samsung has confirmed that the phone will pack night mode to add “more oomph to your shots”. Up front for selfies and video calling, the handset will allegedly sport an 8MP camera unit. The handset will be driven by a 5,000mAh battery, which is likely to be backed by 18W fast charging support. Other features of the Samsung Galaxy F42 may include 12 5G bands, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB C for charging.
