Samsung Galaxy J2 Core leak

The first thing these alleged live images of the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core suggest is that the phone will not be running stock Android Oreo (Go edition). Instead, the phone will supposedly come with Go versions of Google’s official apps and Samsung’s usual user experience UX. As seen in the photos, the Galaxy J2 Core will have Android Go’s data saving and storage management features.

The photos suggest that the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Android Go offering will have the standard 16:9 aspect ratio. The handset will skip capacitive touch buttons to offer on-screen navigation. It appears that the phone will not be offering a fingerprint sensor. At the rear, the device could feature a single primary camera module.

As per the earlier reports, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core will feature a 5-inch Super AMOLED display of unknown resolution. The handset could be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos 7570 processor. The phone is said to come with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The camera department could include an 8MP rear snapper and a 5MP front shooter. A 2,600mAh battery is expected to power the phone.

As of now, there’s no telling when exactly Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy J2 Core Android Go smartphone. However, since the phone’s specs and images have been leaked, the launch shouldn’t be too far.
