Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has been launched in India today. The handset comes as a successor to the Galaxy M52 from last year. It has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, a square module to house quad-camera sensors and narrow bezels. Samsung Galaxy M53 5G has an introductory price of Rs 26,499 for the 6GB+128GB model and Rs 28,499 for the 8GB+128GB version. The handset should come in Green and Blue colour options and the sale starts on April 29th at 12 PM IST via Amazon. Prime customers get 24 hours early access to the sale. The company is offering a Rs 2,500 discount via ICICI credit and EMI transactions. This brings down the price to Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999.

Samsung Galaxy M53 5G flaunts a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset coupled with Mali-G68 MP4 GPU. It comes in two models: 6GB RAM+128GB storage and 8GB + 128GB storage. The phone has support for up to 8GB of extendable RAM for better multitasking.

The handset packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB Type-C port for charging. It runs on Android 12 based on OneUI 4.2 custom skin out of the box and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
