Samsung Galaxy S23 series launched globally earlier this month and the phones are already on sale. All three models in the series have received positive reviews so far. Now, it looks like the South Korean giant is working on a new fan edition phone, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G and this will come as a follow-up to the Galaxy S21 FE that was a hit during the last festival sale period. The new Fan Edition phone is said to launch around August or September this year.

This comes after the Galaxy S22 FE launch was delayed due to chipset shortage and less smartphone demand towards the end of 2022. At one point, there were reports that Samsung might discontinue the FE series but that doesn’t seem to be the case. We still don’t have any specifications of the rumoured Galaxy S23 FE yet.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 2,340 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Powering the phone is the Exynos 2100 processor paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs on Android 13 OS with OneUI custom skin.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has a triple rear camera setup, with a 12MP primary wide camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field of view, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 30x zoom capabilities. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. The phone is equipped with an IP68 water resistance rating and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
