- According to tipster Ice Universe, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra would feature a 50MP sensor with 5x optical zoom.
- In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra zoomed-in shots are limited to 12MP.
- The tipster has shared an image on Weibo and this shows the EXIF data of the 5x zoomed-in image from the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
- This reveals the flagship would be capable of capturing photos at a full 50MP resolution of 6120 x 8160 pixels in zoomed-in shots.
- This also suggests the telephoto camera on the Galaxy S24 Ultra could be upgraded to 50MP from a 10MP sensor. This should result in better-quality images.
- In comparison, the Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 10MP telephoto lens and a 10MP periscope lens.
