The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has been launched at Rs 17,999 and will be available for purchase from January 17th via Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung e-store, and offline stores across the country. Buyers will be eligible for Rs 2,000 cashback on select cards and will get a book cover worth Rs 999.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold colours and 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB variants.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 gets a 10.5-inch 1920 x 1200 WUXGA TFT packed inside its metal-finished slab like designed body which measures 246.8 x 161.9 x 6.9mm and tips the scale at 508g. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T618 processor that has been fabricated on a 12nm process and is clocked at 2.0GHz. The processor is paired to 3GB or 4GB of RAM and gets upto 128GB of internal storage. The device supports expansion upto 1TB via a microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 draws juice from a 7,400mAh battery that charges at 15W. The tablet gets Dolby Atmos supporting quad stereo speakers, facial recognition, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, Type C 2.0 port, 3.5mm headphone jack, an 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. The Galaxy Tab A8 runs on Android 11.
