Samsung India has quietly launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 after it was spotted listed on Amazon and Flipkart. The sub-Rs 20,000 tablet from the South Korean manufacturer will go on sale on January 17th for a price of Rs 17,999 at 12 noon. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will be available for purchase via Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung e-store, and offline stores across the country. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will cater to the budget market and will compete against the like of the Realme Pad and Nokia Tab amongst others in the sub-Rs 20,000 price segment. The Samsung tablet gets a 10.5-inch display, an Unisos T618 processor, and a 7,400mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 has been launched at Rs 17,999 and will be available for purchase from January 17th via Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung e-store, and offline stores across the country. Buyers will be eligible for Rs 2,000 cashback on select cards and will get a book cover worth Rs 999.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in Gray, Silver, and Pink Gold colours and 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB variants.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 gets a 10.5-inch 1920 x 1200 WUXGA TFT packed inside its metal-finished slab like designed body which measures 246.8 x 161.9 x 6.9mm and tips the scale at 508g. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T618 processor that has been fabricated on a 12nm process and is clocked at 2.0GHz. The processor is paired to 3GB or 4GB of RAM and gets upto 128GB of internal storage. The device supports expansion upto 1TB via a microSD card slot.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 draws juice from a 7,400mAh battery that charges at 15W.
