Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2023

Samsung will launch at least six new devices at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in Seoul. This is according to a bunch of promo material leaked by Evan Blass on Twitter. Here, we can see the new Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Galaxy Watch 6, and the Galaxy Buds 3. The leaked images pretty much confirm the entire lineup of new Samsung devices.

There’s also going to be a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic which is reportedly bringing back the rotating bezel that Samsung had introduced on its earlier watches. We also get a good look at the large cover display of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 through these leaked images.

Let’s take a look at each of these devices.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 doesn’t show much of a difference in terms of design as compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5. There’s a triple rear camera setup which looks the same as the previous model, and this one too will come with S Pen support. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is seen here in a light blue colour but we’re expecting more options at its launch.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 has something refreshing to show with its large cover display that takes up the entire front half of the foldable. This isn’t surprising though as its rivals such as the Moto Razr Ultra 40 and OPPO Find N2 Flip have also adopted bigger cover displays. There’s also going to be two front cameras on the outside. Reports also suggest Samsung is using a new hinge mechanism that will not leave any gap when the phone shuts.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic

According to the leaked images, there’s going to be two new Samsung smartwatches. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will feature the rotating bezel whereas the regular Galaxy Watch 6 won’t. The two watches continue with the same circular design and different strap styles. We can also notice slimmer bezels this time on the new Samsung watches.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9

The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is also confirmed to launch at the event, and it is expected to be accompanied by the regular Galaxy Tab S9. In the leaked image, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is spotted with thin bezels and the S Pen. This will be Samsung’s premium tablet offering and it’s expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3

The Galaxy Buds 3 look much like the previous generation Galaxy Buds 2, according to the leaked images. The upcoming earbuds are seen here in a white colour but it will most likely have more colour options.
