As many as 13 models of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 have appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance website. The model numbers include SM-R885N, SM-R895N, SM-R8950, SM-R860, SM-R870, and SM-R880, among others. From what we know so far, the SM-R885N is the 41mm variant while the SM-R895N is the 45mm version. The other model numbers could be associated with different regions. The Wi-Fi Alliance website also shows that the smartwatch runs the new Android OS, which is Wear. Additionally, the Galaxy Watch 4 will support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. Unfortunately, the listing does not tell us anything more about the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4's specifications.
We don't know what the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will look like, but rumours suggest it will retain the circular design and the popular rotating bezel. The highlight, of course, will be the move to the Wear platform. Google claims the new Wear platform will be faster at loading apps, offer a smoother scrolling experience, and better battery life than before, with the help of Samsung's Tizen platform. Wear will also offer more apps and watch faces as well as fitness features from Fitbit. We hope to learn more about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 in the coming weeks.
