Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 tipped to get a massive camera upgrade, under internal testing

After unveiling the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 last month, the South Korean giant appears to be working on the successor already. This year’s Flip model comes with the same 12MP primary sensor that is used on the last year’s Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. However, it appears the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 could see the much-awaited camera upgrade, if the report by the GalaxyClub is anything to go by.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 camera upgrade

The report claims that Samsung has begun testing the Galaxy Z Flip 6 prototypes with a 50MP primary camera. This will arrive as a massive upgrade over the Flip 5’s 12MP unit.
This is if Samsung decides to proceed with the high-res camera.
The report doesn’t divulge any details about the sensor or other lenses.
The publication revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have a codename B6, while the Z Fold 6 will bear the codename Q6.
Considering the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are about a year from the launch, a lot could change and hence we suggest you take this news with a pinch of salt.
