Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra could be in the works
- The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra would be the third foldable phone from Samsung launching this year, according to a report by GalaxyClub.
- This is not the first time we are hearing about the existence of an Ultra model as back in February we heard about an Ultra-branded foldable phone debuting this year.
- The report says the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra will have the model number SM-F958.
- In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 bears the model number SM-F946 and the Z Fold 6 will reportedly have the model number SM-F946.
Samsung appears to be using the ‘8’ suffix in model numbers for its ‘Ultra’ variants, as evident from the Galaxy S24 Ultra which has the model number SM-S928. Since these details are based on online reports, we suggest you deal them with caution and a pinch of salt.
The report further states that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra might be exclusive to the South Korean market. The publication has also identified the SM-F958N model number, which could be a South Korean variant of the device. There are no indications of variants for other markets like India, the US, and Europe.
As said, no other details of the phone are revealed at the moment but the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be held in July this year, as per reports. The company is expected to announce the Galaxy Ring launch date as well.
