The Stella Buzz electric scooter comes with an LPF battery pack, which is claimed to be more fire-resistant than Li-ion battery packs found in most EVs today.
The Stella Buzz electric scooter has been launched in India at a price of Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). The Stella Buzz will be offered in four colour options, namely, Grey, Matte Blue, Red, and Brown. The company will offer a standard 3-year warranty on the e-scooter.
The company claims that deliveries for the Stella Buzz e-scooter will begin this month.
The Stella Buzz e-scooter comes with a 2kW BLDC motor paired with a 2.16kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. The LPF battery pack is more fire-resistant than the Li-ion battery packs found in most EVs today. The company also claims that there is a plethora of sensors and a micro-processor-based battery management system that checks and maintains the battery's health based on Indian conditions.
The e-scooter is capable of delivering a claimed range of 90km on a single charge and can do speeds of up to 55kmph. The Buzz also has a load-carrying capacity of 150kg and about 180mm of ground clearance. Other features include front disc brakes, tubeless tyres, a digital speedometer, central locking, a USB charger, cruise control and an anti-theft system.
