The Tecno Camon 30 series, which has four models: the Camon 30, Camon 30 5G, Camon 30 Pro 5G, and Camon 30 Premier 5G, is set to launch in India soon. The company hasn’t clearly revealed which model will be making it to India at the moment. To recall, the Tecno Camon 30 series was unveiled globally in February at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. The base and the Pro versions were introduced in Nigeria shortly later.

Tecno Camon 30 series will come with a Sony sensor

Tecno Mobile India has teased the launch of the Camon 30 series in India through a post on X. However, the launch date is not revealed.
The teaser video confirms the phones would come with Sony Lytica cameras and another video clip shows a vegan leather option.

The design of the phones appears to be similar to their global counterparts. The specifications also appear to be similar.
The launch date of the lineup is yet to be revealed, but there are chances we might see the announcement sometime this month.

Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G specifications

Display: 6.77-inch FHD+ OLED LTPO display with 1,264 x 2,780p pixels resolution and 1,400 nits peak brightness.
Processor: The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC.
RAM/Storage: Up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. There is support for up to 12GB virtual RAM for better multitasking.
OS: Android 14 out of the box.
Battery: 5,000mAh battery with 70W wireless charging support.
Cameras: 50MP Sony IMX890 with OIS, a 70mm periscope 50MP sensor, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 50MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.

Tecno Camon 30 Pro 5G specifications

Display: 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,080 x 2,436 pixels resolution.
Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset.
Cameras: There is a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. There is a 50MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
Battery: The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging support.
OS: Android 14-based HiOS custom skin out of the box.
Others: Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, an under-display fingerprint sensor for security, and an IR blaster.

Tecno Camon 30 4G

Display: 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 2,436 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor: Tecno Camon 30 4G is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, while the 5G version comes with MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC.
Battery: 5,000mAh batteries with up to 70W wired fast charging.
Cameras: The Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 feature a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor with dual rear flash units.
