With several major telecom operators like Reliance Communications, Tata Docomo and MTS on the CDMA spectrum, there’s still a big market for compatible devices. While some CDMA smartphones are tied to a particular telecom operator, dual-SIM handsets supporting both GSM and CDMA bands are popular as well. However, compared to the more popular GSM technology, CDMA-supported smartphones are few and far between. Here's our shortlist of the top five CDMA smartphones currently available in the market.

It offers 16GB of internal storage, that can be bumped up to 128GB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat, overlaid with HTC's Sense 6.0 UI. The One (E8) forgoes the 4MP UltraPixel camera setup on the M8 for a 13MP primary snapper. A 5-megapixel shooter in the front handles selfie duties. The photography department is taken care of by a 13MP shooter with LED flash at the rear, and a 5MP camera in the front. The smartphone features HTC's trademark front-facing BoomSound speakers, and is backed by a 2,600mAh battery.
Micromax Canvas Duet II (Rs 12,750)
The
Micromax Canvas Duet II is a dual-SIM smartphone with GSM+CDMA support. It flaunts a 5.3-inch 1,280 x 720 display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor and 1GB RAM. At the back, it features an 8MP camera with LED flash, and in the front it offers a 2MP shooter. Internal storage is on the lower side at 4GB, but can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. The Canvas Duet II runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is fuelled by a 2,300mAh battery that offers up to 6 hours of talk time.

Powering the phone is a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 chipset with 1GB RAM. It also offers dual BoomSound speakers with built-in amplifiers. Under the hood is a 2,100mAh battery offering up to 11 hours of talk time.
Micromax Canvas Blaze HD (Rs 12,749)

Micromax Canvas Blaze HD offers a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor. The dual-SIM smartphone offers GSM+CDMA support and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It sports an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Internal storage is just 4GB, but is expandable via a microSD card. The 2,000mAh battery offers up to 5 hours of talk time.
