Vivo V20 price in India, complete specifications, and first sale date have been announced as the phone went official in India on Tuesday. The handset debuts in the country as a successor to Vivo V19 (review), which was launched back in May. The Vivo V20 specifications include the Snapdragon 720G SoC, 64MP triple rear cameras, 44MP front camera, and 33W fast charging support, among other things. Vivo says this is the slimmest smartphone under Rs 30,000 and the first phone in India to run on the latest Android 11 out of the box. The company also teased the launch of the Vivo V20 SE in India, which will arrive at a later date.

Vivo V20 price, availability

The Vivo V20 price in India is set at Rs 24,990 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 27,990 for the 8GB + 256GB option. The handset comes in Midnight Jazz, Sunset Melody, and Moonlight Sonata colour options. The Vivo V20 sale starts from October 20th while pre-booking begins from today.

Vivo V20 specifications

The Vivo V20 comes with dual-SIM support and Android 11-based FunTouchOS 11 to take care of the software side of things. The handset sports a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display that bears 1,080 x 2,400p resolution and a waterdrop notch atop. There is no 90Hz refresh rate on the display. At the core of the phone lies mid-range Snapdragon 720G SoC, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage onboard that is further expandable using a microSD card (up to 1TB).

In optics, the Vivo V20 rocks triple rear cameras in a rectangular module that includes a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor, and 2MP mono sensor. The front camera of the phone packs 44MP snapper with Eye Autofocus for selfies and video calling. Camera features include Cyberpunk, Blue Ice, Super Night Selfie, Selfie Aura Screen Light, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, Dual-View Video, Tripod Night Mode, Ultra Stable Video, Bokeh Portrait, and more

The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security and a 4,000mAh battery with 33W FlashCharge fast charging support under the hood to keep the phone up and running. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. Lastly, the Vivo V20 measures only 7.38mm in slimness and weighs just 171 grams.
