Vivo V30, V30 Pro roundup: India launch date, expected price, specifications and more

The Vivo V30 series will launch in India on March 7th and will be the successors to the V29 series launched back in October 2023. Some markets have already launched the smartphones, which gives us a hint as to what we can expect in terms of specifications. The series price in India was also leaked recently. Here's everything we know about the Vivo V30 series.

Vivo V30 series launch date and expected price

• Vivo has officially confirmed that the V30 series will launch in India on March 7th. 
• The Vivo V30 is tipped to cost around Rs 40,000 for the base model, which could offer 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
• The starting price of the Vivo V30 Pro is reportedly Rs 45,000 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
• Vivo has officially announced the Vivo V30 in Indonesia, and the smartphones are likely to feature the same specifications in India.

Vivo V30

• Display: Vivo V30 features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2,800×1,260 pixels resolution, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,800 nits peak brightness.
• Processor: The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with the Adreno 720 GPU powers the smartphone.

• RAM and storage: The smartphone packs 8GB and 12GB of RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
• Cameras: The Vivo V30 sports a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP bokeh sensor. There's a 50MP front camera for selfies on the Vivo V30. 
• Software: The Vivo V30 runs on Android 14 with Funtouch OS out-of-the-box.
• Battery, charging: A 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging is likely to power the smartphone.  

Vivo V30 Pro

• Display: The Vivo V30 Pro features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2,800 nits peak brightness, 2,800×1,260 pixels resolution, HDR10+, and a 120Hz refresh rate. 
• Processor:  The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor powers the smartphone. 

• RAM and storage: It comes in two storage variants, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
• Cameras: The smartphone sports a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary camera, a 50MP Sony IMX816 portrait camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, the smartphone houses a 50MP camera.
• Software: The Vivo V30 Pro operates on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 out-of-the-box.
• Battery, charging: The device comes with a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
