Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India launch teased on Flipkart: here’s what we know about the phone

As rumoured, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is coming to India and the arrival has been revealed through Flipkart. The e-commerce website has a dedicated microsite teasing the Vivo foldable’s launch. It boasts the device as “The Best Fold Ever”. While the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India launch date is not known, here’s everything else we gather from this teaser image:

The Flipkart teaser insinuates the Vivo foldable could be light.

There is AI branding alongside the name. So, Vivo is playing by the 2024 playbook and we expect some of these AI chops in the photography department.
Like its predecessors, this Vivo flagship device is also co-engineered with ZEISS. Since the phone is already available in China, we know it could bring ZEISS Multifocal Portrait support backed by ZEISS Style Portrait colours.
In the teaser image, we also see the X Fold 3 Pro from a top-down view. We see one of its stereo speaker grilles.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India specifications (expected)

Main display: This one could be an 8.03-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 2480×2200 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
Cover display: The cover screen could stretch 6.53 inches and be of AMOLED type. It could have an 1172 x 2748 pixel resolution and the same refresh rate, peak brightness, and HDR format support.

Processor: The Pro model could be running on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Memory: The device could ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage.
Software: While the foreign model ran on OriginOS, the Indian variant could be coming with FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14.
Cameras: There could be a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP OIS main camera, a 64MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. This could be backed by a V3 Imaging Chip. Both the cover screen camera and the main screen camera could have 32MP sensors.
Battery: The device could be running on a 5,700mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Weight: It could weigh 236 g.
