The Vivo X100 series will be debuting in China in the next few days. The lineup will come with three models: Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+. Vivo has been teasing the phones on Weibo, and the top-end model is confirmed to arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The other two models will come with the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.

Vivo X100 series launch date

The Vivo X100 series will be launching in China on November 13th. The company is expected to roll out these models to global markets, including India.

Vivo X100 price (leaked)

Vivo X100 pricing details were leaked online recently. The handset was listed on the Chinese shopping site JD.com with a starting price of CNY 3,999 (around Rs 46,200) for the 12GB/256GB model. The pricing details of other models are under wraps at the moment.

Vivo X100 colours

Vivo has officially teased the Light Blue colour option of the Vivo X100 but there could be other options like Black, probably Red or Orange, and others.

Vivo X100 series design

  • Vivo has started teasing the X100 design on its social media handles. 
  • The latest teaser video showed the Vivo X100 Pro will come in a new Orange colour and this will feature a leather finish. Besides this, the phone will also come in light blue, white, and black colours and these will feature a glass back panel.
  • There is a mention of ‘Vario-Apo-Sonnar’ within the round module.
  • Vivo is highlighting the ‘Zeiss’ T* branding and a dedicated V3 chipset for photography on the Vivo X100 Pro.’
  • The teaser video confirms the Vivo X100 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. 
  • The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. The bottom part might feature a USB Type-C port, speaker vents and a microphone.
  • While the Vivo X100 might come with flat edges, the X100 Pro and X100 Pro+ might have curved edges to the sides. All three models might come with a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout.

Vivo X100 series specifications (rumoured)

  • Display: The Vivo X100 is rumoured to sport a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2800×1260 pixels resolution. We believe the other two models could also have the same screen size but with slightly curved edges.
  • OS: The phones are expected to boot Android 14-based Funtouch OS custom skin out of the box.
  • RAM and Storage: The phones might come with up to 24GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. There could be support for virtual RAM.
  • Cameras: The Vivo X100 could feature a 50MP primary sensor (f/1.6 aperture), a 50MP ultrawide sensor (f/2.0 aperture OIS), and a 64MP periscope lens with f/2.6 aperture, OIS, Support for 3X optical zoom, 100X digital zoom, and a laser focus system.
  • The Vivo X100 Pro is said to come with a 50MP Sony IMX989 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera sensor, and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto sensor.
  • Lastly, the Vivo X100 Pro+ might feature a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide lens, a 50MP Sony IMX758 portrait sensor, and a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor telephoto periscope camera with 10x zoom. There could be a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
  • Chipset: The Vivo X100 is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, similar to the X100 Pro. However, the X100 Pro+ could ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
  • Battery: The Vivo X100 might pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. However, the Pro version could pack a 5,400mAh battery with 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
  • The Vivo X100 is likely to measure 164×75.2×8.5mm and weigh 205 grams.
