The Vivo X70 series is expected to launch in India in September.
The Vivo X70 Pro has a punch-hole camera on the top centre of the display and there's a large earpiece just above it. The USB Type-C port, speaker grille, microphone and SIM card tray are present on the bottom. The volume rocker and power button are on the right side of the frame. The Vivo X70 Pro has quad cameras arranged in a rectangular module and triple LED flash. The camera module has a slight protrusion. The Vivo X70 Pro has an aluminium frame with antenna bands. The phone can be seen in a Blue colour option, but there should be other colours on offer as well.
Steve tells us that the Vivo X70 Pro sports a 6.5-inch display with curved edges and a punch-hole camera. The phone measures 160.4 x 75.5 x 7.7mm (10mm with the rear camera bump). The renders show the phone will have Zeiss-branded rear cameras.
Vivo X70 Pro bears the model number V2105, as revealed by the Geekbench. The phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and will likely run on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1. The Geekbench listing told us the phone packs 12GB of RAM and a recent Google Play Console listing tells us it will also be available with 8GB of RAM. We speculate the phone will feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Connectivity features should include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging.
