Vivo X70 series India launch is around the corner and we now have the unofficial launch date. MySmartPrice reports that the Vivo X70 launch date in India is September 30th 2021. The Vivo X70 series smartphones, which include Vivo X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus, were recently launched in China on September 9th. A separate report this week suggests Vivo will only be launching the X70 Pro and X70 Pro Plus in India. Vivo has already started teasing the launch of the series in India and the company will likely confirm the launch date soon.
Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro Plus specifications
The Vivo X70 Pro features a 6.56-inch Full HD+ Curved AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. In China, the X70 Pro is powered by the Exynos 1080 SoC, however, Vivo might be launching the X70 Pro in India with a Dimensity 1200 chipset from MediaTek in India. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is also the first device to be running the custom V1-chip developed in-house by Vivo. The Vivo X70 Pro houses a quad-camera setup, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary camera, a 12MP portrait lens, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and an 8MP telephoto camera sensor. At the front, a 32MP shooter takes care of the selfies. The X70 Pro packs in a 4450 mAh battery with 44W fast charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. It runs Android 11.
Vivo will also be launching the X70 Pro Plus in India. The device offers a 6.78-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED E5 display which is a 10-bit LTPO panel that refreshes at 120Hz. Under the hood, the Vivo X70 Pro Plus gets a Snapdragon 888 SoC from Qualcomm, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The quad-camera set-up fetches you a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide, an 8MP telephoto and a 12MP portrait lens. Each sensor is optically stabilised and also supports 360-degree horizontal stabilisation. The Vivo X70 Pro Plus packs in a 4500 mAh battery with 55W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging. It too runs on Android 11 out of the box.
The Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro Plus that will be hitting stores soon and should be priced similarly to Vivo’s X60 lineup. The X70 and X70 Pro Plus are rumoured to be priced at Rs 49,990 and Rs 69,990, respectively.
