Earlier this week, we exclusively reported that Vivo Y33s will launch in India soon and revealed the phone’s specifications too. Now, we have learnt the Vivo Y33s India launch date as well. According to our retail sources, the smartphone will be released in the country on August 23rd, i.e. the coming Monday, via offline stores. We can expect the smartphone to release via online channels, too, the same day. We already know all the key Vivo Y33s specifications and design thanks to our earlier leak, leaving the phone’s price the only missing piece of the puzzle.

Vivo Y33s price in India

The Vivo Y33s price in India will be Rs 17,990 for the sole 128GB + 8GB configuration. This was revealed in an Amazon listing that has since been taken down, as spotted by the folks in our Hindi team.

Vivo Y33s specifications

The Vivo Y33s will offer a 6.58-inch Halo FullView display with FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) resolution, 90.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, and blue light filter. It will be powered by the 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, with 8GB physical RAM and 4GB virtual RAM. The phone will also have 128GB internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 1TB capacity. It will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and run Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

On the back of the Vivo Y33s is a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP bokeh sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The triple rear cameras will offer features like Super Night Mode, Ultra Stable Video, Super HDR, and Eye Autofocus. In the front, the smartphone will have a 16MP selfie camera with Aurora Screen Light, Super Night Selfie, Multi Style Portrait, and Video Face Beauty. The battery capacity of the phone is 5,000mAh, with support for 18W charging. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB OTG.
