Vivo's next smartphone, the Vivo Y91C has popped up on the NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification agency in Thailand. The upcoming smartphone from Vivo has been certified with model number 1820. The Y91C is apparently a lower variant of the Vivo Y91, which was introduced in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and India recently. The Y91 was launched in some regions with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. Seemingly, the Vivo Y91C could be launched in these regions with 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, the device arrives with a 13MP f/2.2 shooter, which is accompanied by a 2MP f/1.8 snapper. At the front, there's an 8MP sensor with the f/1.8 aperture for clicking selfies and video calling. The dual rear cameras come with additional features like Artificial Intelligence (smart beautification, detect gender, skin tone etc.), and portrait mode among others. For connectivity, the Vivo Y91 gets 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GLONASS, GPS etc. The device is powered by a 4,030 Li-ion battery and comes in two colour options — Starry Black and Ocean Blue. The smartphone carries a price tag of Rs 10,990.
Considering the device has already received the NBTC approval, we can expect the Vivo Y91C to go official sooner than later.
